Sensitive Landscape | Paysage affectif

An invitation was sent to all visitors, one week before their arrival at the studio. The invitation shows a hyper realistic representation of the backyard of a private property. Upon entry into the exhibition space, the viewer sees an almost completely erased drawing. Beneath it stands, on the floor, a small mountain of grey dust, the residues of the erasure. On the opposite wall, a speaker built into the wall faces the drawing. After several minutes in the space, the viewer begins to hear the soundtrack of a tenuous rural soundscape. Thus, the memory of the drawing and added sound reactivates the disappeared landscape.
